OK Let me update everything about Bree. I had a few minutes to read the post and I thought Lee was updating you guys about her condition as it was progressing.

Tuesday Oct. 6th we received a call from TRC that Bree had not been accepted into the TBI but that they wanted to keep her one more week so that they could assess her in Food Services and the JOBS program. Brianna called me from student health so the doctor could talk to me. Dr. Erickson said that it appeared that Brianna had a yeast infection and she was going to treat her for that with Nystatin Cream and Keflex because it was on her legs and could we please bring her some jogging pants because she did not want her wearing jeans. When we got there the rash from the yeast infection was around her panty line on both inner thighs about two inches. On Thursday when she went back to see the doctor we were told the rash had gotten worse and they were putting her in a wheelchair because they did not want her walking. We had already said we would be picking her up Friday after class and they had said to please do that. On Friday we get a call from the TRC that they were going to do a Medical Discharge so that Brianna could continue at a later date for the assessment at JOBS. I could not believe it when we got her home that the infection had gotten so bad in three days. Our doctor as I say early saw her on Monday and changed up the medicine. Last night the TRC called because they had gotten the lab results back ad needed to fax them to our doctor in regards to the urine sample. Our doctor called this afternoon and he had just gotten the fax and she does have a urinary tract infection. So now she is on Ciprofloxacin. Her legs are looking a lot better. The red rash has gotten a lot smaller but the three spots that look like bed sores are still pretty bad. She will be seeing our doctor again on Monday.
