I'll hop in on this one, too. I have family all over NC..that is my home state. We'd like to do some camping over there one day so I'm interested, too. Have fun!

We go to Deep Creek in Bryson City every year. My wife and her sisters have been going there since she was a kid so now our grandkids are going! We really prefer going in June but work prevented us from going then this year.

Bryson City is a pretty place. My mom is from Raleigh and my dad is from Sanford (where I was born). We are headed out to the beach there this Saturday. Can't wait!

Made it back around 3:30 yesterday. Had a great time but boy did we have a few heavy storms at night. One collapsed my brother in law's canopy! At least the extra rain kept the creek up for tubing. Spent most of the day today cleaning out the camper and drying out tarps etc. Quickest week of the year.
