Well we got some snow of course it was all gone by the afternoon but Gus & Jake and the others camping last weekend sure had alot of snow! Jake did enjoy it and they took lots of pictures and it was really Beautiful!! but you are right Lee here in Tennessee it's crazy how it's either hit or miss!!
I do believe I heard Gus say next camper "No Tenting"!! Yes honestly I did hear him say that!!!
Our camper we use a furnace that runs off of propane heats up the camper very well, we also have a ceramic space heater but with the temps in the 20"s it didn't do to much to keep warm. I'm sure there may be a more technical answer and Gus can answer that but that's the limit of my knowledge

Hey Jody,Yvonne is telling it right we have a furnace but for some reason They put them on one end of the camper. We use a little ceramic heater to ofset the difference.I have changed it to a digital thermostat and I think that helps. At least I can see what the temperature is in the pup.

Im going to have to figure out a way to heat mine better. We have heat strips in our AC unit that dont cut it. I put a space heater in there last week when it was around 30 degrees. The inside temp topped out at 56.

We have been below 32 all week and I have a tower heater on in the 5er. On the coldest night it was 40 in there in the morning.
When we camp in the cold. Yes we did camp in single digits in California a couple years ago and the heater maintained comfortable levels (not warm) but comfortable. We have it in the trailer all the time and I will show it to ya at Montgomery Bell

We have used the furnace, and also a tower heater and/or small ceramic heater to heat the pup at various times. I'm not sure what the coldest temps have been, but we slept in there during Christmas one year. The real key to keeping warm is the heated mattress pads that Rockwood/Flagstaff put in their models. Those are simply WONDERFUL!
