I am kinda new here.. but I am always anxious to share something good about my "close to home" campground. Norris Dam State park is only about 20-25 mins from my home.. so it's perfect for quick get-a-ways.

Welcome to the board, Chuck. We are having a meeting to discuss camping trips on the 10th at Henry Horton SP. Feel free to join us and we might just decide to come visit your campground! Especially if you want to host us!
If you cannot make the meeting, be sure to post the campground in the "Winterfest" section of this website. I am going to print out all suggestions and bring them to the meeting.

Pictures look great. I wish more CGs took reservations.

I love Norris Dam, but haven't ever camped there. Been to the cabins, though. I used to live very close to it in Knoxville (Fountain City) and we went there many times. Never thought to go up there to camp. Sounds good!
