If anyone likes the sounds of water and peaceful place, then Lock A is the place. Camp sites are really nice for any kind of camping from tent to motor home. We love it. 8) Lil'House

Hey Lee -
This gem of a CG is located on the Cumberland River outside Ashland City. It is a COE and you can check it out here

http://www.recreation.gov/camping/Lock_A_Tn/r/campgroundDetails.do?contractCode=NRSO&parkId=71265&topTabIndex=CampingSpot

Hope that helps. And of course you can see photos of our campout last weekend at Lock A in the photo area.

Thanks,
Kim

That looks like a really nice place. How are the roads going in and out? We have a 33ft Class "A" Kountry Star...

Paved. :D Know really...we have seen several good size MHs there. I don't think you'd have a problem. Hope that helps.

I LOVE LOCK A :D -- there is a long hill just before the entrance that you have to go down and go back up to get out  -- but I would not let that stop you. It is one of my favorite campgrounds and you can reserve a site. I am so impressed how well the sites are kept. They bath house was older but VERY CLEAN.

Hey Sheila
It's great to see ya on the board.

I like this campground because I can pull up a chair and read, watch the river traffic or just zone out. It has good mojo.
