I got to camp this weekend! We have only camped twice this season and
I usually avoid holiday camping at all costs...crazy people come out of the woodwork on holiday weekends! By Thursday, it was apparent that we were not going to be needed at work on Friday. I called Old Stone Fort and they had many sites available. Friday A.M., the boys and I headed out. What a blast we had. The weather was nice, the campgrounds not nearly full, and Manchester put on a decent fire works display. Overall wonderful weekend!

You've got us beat. We've only been on ONE trip! Holy Cow!

Glad you had a good weekend, but like you, we usually avoid holiday weekends at all costs.

Yeah we have only had 1 trip also. But it was 1o weeks long.... :lol:

Glad you had such a nice time. I too want to go camping. :cry:

It seems like it has been forever since we camped.

But I'm sure our camping time will pick up.

Kim, you and Steve quit belly-aching and put the rest of the world on hold for the next three days. Come on over to Cumberland Mountain State Park and join us. You will feel much better. We are headed over there at about 1 PM today.

Glad you had a great time and got a site on Friday morning. We are so ready for Rock Island. That is all we talked about Friday and Sat, being at the campground.
