I just found out you can buy cast iron on Amazon and most times it comes with free shipping if you spend over $25. We want one of those 12" pots. Hmmmmm......

Celeste,
A 12" is a good oven to start with, (I say this cause I know what your cookin)

Amazon is a good place to shop. watch for the good prices. I would stay with the "known" brands, Like Lodge (my preference), Camp Chef, or Maca.
Textport is good also.

when you get it check with the DO sites, and do a good seasoning job on it. You will be very happy you did. They are almost effortless to maintain once they have a good seasoning. I would season no less than 3 times, even though it comes with a factory seasoning. Do it again and again.

You will not regret getting an Iron Pot.
