Hi. We're from Gladeville just north of Smyrna. We'd love to join your group and have others to camp with. We've been camping for the past two summers. Camping is new to my husband. I camped back in the 1970s on the east coast in both tents and a converted van. Right now we have a 19' Zinger by CrossRoads. We're retired with grown children and grandchildren. No dogs at the moment. We have a new cat we intend to keep if she'll use the litterpan. Today as time allows, I'll check out the whole forum.

I'm real happy to find you people. :D

Yes, unless something comes up, we should be there. How do we find you guys (and ladies?) Which section do you usually camp in?

Thanks for the invite. :D Where is Saltlick? I haven't heard of that CG. :?: I don't think we can make that one because it's too close to the Samboree in Lebanon.

Are you (anyone from here) going to be at the Samboree on the 16 - 18th of October? We already have reservations.

I want to thank all of you for the warm welcome and invites. I can see a good year of camping with you all in 2010. My husband doesn't care for winter camping so we'll probably lay low after our GA/Fla trip in Nov. We'll have the Zinger winterized until April of 2010. If it was up to me we'd camp year round. :D

Welcome -
Looking forward to meeting you around the campfire. :D We don't camp Dec, Jan, Feb - we have what we call "camp coffees" where we all meet at like Bob Evens and catch up with everyone.

RanCar,
Welcome to the group! We are glad you found your way here and we hope to meet you soon. You will not find a finer bunch of folks to camp with. They have put the fun back into camping for our family.
