I log into my laptop and what do I find this morning, but a winter storm watch for our area.

So, heads up I guess we are not done with winter. They are calling for .25 of ice and 2-4 inches of snow. They say north of I40 is going to get the bad stuff this time. Time will tell.

I did a little research concerning the GREAT ICE STORM of 1994 and you want to know what I discovered? It was 70 degrees at midnight before the storm hit. For those new to the area this was a very crippling storm. Folks were without power for weeks, much like ky just experienced only I think it covered a much larger area in 1994. We were without power for 5 days and we lived in the city of Dickson at the time.

Well, have a great day. Oh the storm is suppposed to start late tonight or early morning ...like midnight.

Winter storm watch? There aren't enough little ##$%^ characters to truly express how I feel about that possibility. :(

I'm afraid I'd have to temporarily convert my keyboard to type in Greek characters for that. So far, I do not see our county listed.

Are you gonna take care of Dale this time ???

Everyone stay safe. Think McMinnville will be spared this time, but who knows ????? the last one was a shocker too.

I know this is so crazy!! there was sleet this morning but now it's changed over to rain but it's COLD!!! I was fine with the cold when it stayed cold but once we got that pretty weather, this is no fun!! Is this our dogwood winter?? how many more do we have? I don't remember all the winters that we go thru before it's officially spring!

And i do remember that storm in 1994 but I didn't remember that it was so warm the day before WOW that's interesting I guess I should've known that before I told the kids last night "don't worry it won't do anything the ground is to warm"
